Why the double standards against those who tend to become illegal immigrants?

A:  I Totally agree with you..... . The War On Democracy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J1zZNbqi5 John Pilger''s 2007 documentary explores the historic and current relationship of Washington with countries such as Venezuela, Bolivia and Chile. Pilger claims that the film ''...tells a universal story... analyzing and revealing, through vivid testimony, the story of great power behind its venerable myths. It allows us to understand the true nature of the so-called ''war on terror''., the films message is that the greed and power of empire is not invincible and that people power is always the ''seed beneath the snow''. Pilger interviews several ex-CIA agents who purportedly took part in secret campaigns against democratic countries and who he claims are profiting from the war in Iraq. He...

Q:

Is the Arizona immigration law unconstitutional?

A:  This is going to be one for the courts, specifically the Supreme Court. Most of the furor and loud arguments on both sides have little or nothing to do with the actual constitutional issue. The part of the Constitution which is the foundation for immigration policy is Article I Section 8. In that article the Federal government is charged with creating a uniform Naturalization law. So, this is one of the Enumerated Powers that the Federal Government has, and it has been interpreted as covering immigration law generally. But, before you say open and shut case, read the rest of the sentence. It also says that the Federal government is to create a uniform Bankruptcy

The Truth Can Be Harmed, But Not Shamed

A:  "Chinese TV Director Was Sued by Falun Gong (NYT) "Chinese TV Director Sued by Falun Gong Claims Free Speech Protection in the U.S." by Adam Liptak ("The New York Times," January 2, 2005) Zhao Zhizhen, the director of a local television station in Wuhan, China, was in New Haven last summer, spending time with his daughter after seeing her graduate from Yale. Followers of Falun Gong, a spiritual practice banned in China, found him there and served him with a federal lawsuit. His station''s programs, they said, had incited violence against them in China. Suits against Chinese officials by the movement''s adherents in courts around the world are not unusual, and the officials typically ignore them. But Mr. Zhao, who says the suit challenges...

Q:

What do you think of my essay on immigration in America?

A:  Yours is a lame essay that misses the point. In fact your essay highlights the biggest issue that we have with legal immigration - that you seem to think that you have the right to ignore the law just because you want more money. Can you explain just why we should welcome people as immigrants when they feel no reason to obey our laws? first of all keep it in English man. We speak ENGLISH here not Spanish. By writing and speaking in Spanish your encouraging more illegal immigrants. I''d have no problem with them if they just spoke English my friend but in the end they don''t and those disgusting race of people need to get out. I like Latino people but these illegals create such bad stereotypes for other Latinos that...

Q:

In a battle between the US and Russia, who would prevail?(no nukes)?

A:  I''ll just answer in this format since it''s easier. Air Force - United States: 5,573 aircraft total, 2,132 warplanes Russia: 2,749 aircraft total Navy - United States: 284 ships (11 of which are carriers) 3,700 aircraft Russian Navy: 233 ships (1 of which is a carrier), the Russian Navy doesn''t have it''s own planes, the Russian Air Force allocates the Navy planes. Army - United States: (Specifically only counting Army personnel since you never specified otherwise) Active military personnel 549,015 Reserve 563,688 5,970+ Abrams in service and in inventory, not going to bother with things other than MBTs Russia: (All Russian ground forces are consolidated so this number isn''t really that large) Active military personnel 1,037,000 Reserve 2,400,000 There isn''t a published number for how...

Q:

Canadians- Are there illegal Americans in your country?

A:  Yes, there are Americans who live illegally in Canada. In fact there are probably more American illegals than any other nationality. Canada has a fairly open immigration policy, and the laws are fairly well enforced. (though it could be improved on) As with illegals of any other country, when we catch them we send them home, unless they can give a really good reason why they should stay. Edit: Actually Canada''s amnesty policy for illegal immigrants has done much to encourage immigrants to enter by legal means rather than trying to skirt the law in the first place. This reduces both the amount of illegal immigration and the costs of enforcing

Q:

What is the least expensive form of adoption...including foreign adoptions?

A:  We did one international adoption (under special circumstances) years ago and two recent adoptions through foster care. The cost for our international adoption was about $800 but the two foster care adoptions (7 day and 4 day old infants) was totally free in my area. Most areas of North America and like that. If you are looking towards an international adoption, I''d say that no country has the least expensive adoption fees. They are all ridiculously high given the fact that the process is duplicated, half in your country and half in the country you are adopting from, which effectively doubles the costs. Adoption from foster care involves very minimal court fees, and really helps those children severely in need. The...

A:  as a Brit it pains me to say this but yes and they for a long time were the only power that challenged Britten, from the time of there formation France as one of the best military records in history it is only in the past 200 years that that as gone down for the most part of the dark ages and the early medieval period FRANCE was the dominant power and led the first crusade after the first crusade England started to rise and the two were very close in there military Record from then until the fall of Napoleon from then on they seem to have gone down hill EDIT Ithink i should point out after reading a few points hear that 1. yest the USA won the war of Independence thanks to help and support from France 2.IM in the Army and served in Iraq and Afghan and IM Brit we are not getting are buts...

Q:

What should be the basis of Abortion laws?

A:  I think that unlike the rest of life, the law should be black and white. What I mean by that is that the law should not be used to govern ethics - it should be used to have a civilized society. With that said, abortion needs to remain legal for the reason of saving the most lives. Making it illegal is not going to stop it. If it did, we would not have the issues with illegal drugs, underaged drinking or driving too fast on the roads. These are all things that are illegal, but continue to be done. Abortion will be the same. What WILL happen if it is made illegal is that all of the regulation will be gone. The government and AMA can''t pass regulation and monitor standards and licenses if the procedure is illegal. So we will be back to the...
