Q:

federal tax lien and it''s effect on private civil judgements

A:  "Will a federal irs tax lien for several hundred thousand dollars discourage attorneys of private entities from pursuing the collection of private civil federal judgements for a similar amount." No. Why should it? As long as you have assets and income that the federal govt isn't getting, the rest of it is fair game. Besides, FL judgments are good for 7 years and renewable so they've got plenty of time to enforce the judgments. "If somehow though, collection of the private judgements goes forward, would there be any protection for my only source of income, which is my business. Could I be forced to sell my

Q:

What are the legal issues related to cameras in the courtroom?

A:  In this situation, I suppose that cameras are allowed because of the high profile nature of the case. As an ex-photojournalist, I can tell you that we are at the mercy of the courts decision whether to allow cameras or not. I''ve often wondered if the courts decision isn''t swayed by padding pockets. Certainly media knows the value of broadcasting high profile cases, especially those involving celebrities. I''m not one to suppose that all that content would be given away for free. As to why the cameras are cut off at a certain time, are you positive they were? Perhaps the producer cut the vid simply because it fit the allotted time slot. Perhaps it''s part of their yearly negotiated...

Q:

Would you adopt a child that is not biologically related to you, but is related to your children?

A:  Yes and with no hesitation. My son''s half-brother was conceived the day my son was born, my best friend and son''s father are the parents. Though I still have issues with the fact that they made a baby then both came to help me deliver, huge WTF I know, he is still my son''s brother and if he was ever orphaned I would raise him without a second thought. When a child has no parents and no relatives willing to help out being with their siblings, or their sibling''s family, is the best answer by far. Yes, My adopted son is my bio children''s distant cousin. (My ex husband and A-son''s dad are 1st cousins) If I ever had...

Q:

Can anyone tell me what sorn means in relation to dvla vehicle owner?

A:  Statutory Off Road Notice; is a cunning way of ensuring that a car is either taxed and shown as taxed on the database, or off the road in storage or being reconditioned and so on the database as such. In the old days if you wanted to own a car and drive it on the road, you had to buy tax for it, this hasn''t changed; but now if you don''t want it on the road, it is no longer good enough to just NOT buy tax, you now have to also tell BIG BROTHER that it is off of the high-way and you will not be using it! It''s a bit like writing to Tesco''s to tell them that you won''t be shopping there and getting fined heavily if you don''t. It just gives the government an ideal...

Q:

Why is flag burning offensive to you? Should it be illegal?

A:  2nd best way to start a fire, or wipe your butt with. its not really offensive, but why the hell would somebody live in america and do that? those people are idiots. it sould be illigal That is such a weird law. I mean, it''s just a flag. People burn them in protest, when their angry, upset or trying to make a statement. So they don''t like the country... isn''t that their right? I would not feel comfortable burning a flag, but when I see someone else doing it, I don''t think, "Those anti-American idiots." I think, "Wow

Q:

What would you do if you knew a Police Officer lied on the stand about something as minor as a traffic ticket?

A:  I''m sorry I don''t know what to tell you. In my city police always pull my huaband over for stupid reasons and give him tickets. My husband got a speeding ticket once and he tried to fight it in court and the judge just laughed at him. The judge usually sides with the police. My husband said he wasn''t speeding. He ended up missing work and he had to pay the ticket after all. He doesn''t get pulled over in other cities just ours and only when he is driving his truck. When he drives our car he never gets pulled over. If I were you I wouldn''t even waste my time fighting tickets cause they will agree with the officer. It''s only a traffic ticket, do you really want to take on all his buddies in the force who may be out for revenge if you take it any further. You...

Q:

What percent of people living today will make an impact on the world before they die?

A:  I think only 1% of people have any real effect on the world 100 % will make an impact. The degree of that impact will vary from person to person. I''m afraid that it is impossible to calculate such a percentage. I suppose the influence usually affects those which the person is closest to and it goes down degree by degree. I suggest you search your local library or Barnes and Nobles and read up on the Six degrees of separation in the philosophical section. 100% of us will make some type of impact. For every person who is born, history(maybe not global, maybe just familial and local) will be forever altered. we all make an impact on the...
