Q:

What affect will a supreme court ruling on Prop 8 have on my rights?

A:  Assuming you don''t go so far as to do something that constitutes ''hate speech'' you can probably say or do anything you have listed regardless of which way the supreme court rules on Prop. 8 (assuming they eventually hear the case). But get legal advice before doing anything that might be questionable. Note, however, that saying things against gays can affect you. For example, it got a Catholic Studies prof temporarily fired. (Eventually they seemed to figure out he was expressing his and the Catholic churches view.) So your view may affect you, but not b/c prop 8 is or is not overturned. Generally I don''t see how Prop 8 affects you directly one way or the other regardless of how it comes down. (Note that I am just discussing the...

Q:

If the supreme court ruled in 2005 that cops can ask for immigration papers at any time?

A:  That means Obama loses, GO ARIZONA!!! I agree that there isnt a problem with the Arizona law. Way to go Az. If you have broken the law in some way, minor or major, the authorities can hold you under arrest until you prove or they prove who you are. In other words, they can''t say ''Oh.. you look like this guy that just robbed the bank, but we don''t know for sure.. so we''re going to let you go''. Every law enforcement officer can ask about someones status if they want to. It''s just that some law enforcement are told to not do this. Go figure. There is no problem with the Arizona law, except that illegals don''t like it. Too funny, huh? The Ninth District

Q:

What happens if the ffl gets a denial after gun is already tranfered?

A:  This actually comes to fault with the FFL. The reason being is that they are not to release or continue the transaction until they receive verification that the potential owner can indeed legally posses the weapon. I would strongly encourage you to return the said weapon immediately to the store and get a full refund. The law permits any firearm purchase to be refunded within five days ''Inspection Period'' as long as the firearm was not discharged. Some FFLs deny this law (mostly small ''Mom & Pop'' businesses), and if they do I would then CALL (don''t show up without prior arrangement) your police department and release the weapon to them. Explain your situation as clearly as possible, this then would hold the FFL at fault, not you....

Q:

If someone doesnt obey there court papers over and over what happens to the kids?

A:  The nanny stays out of it and lets the matter get handled by the parents....

Q:

What happens with you car in the pound?

A:  Then they will get a mechanics lein on the car, and end up owning it. The police will charge you a daily storage fee, and eventually, the cost of towing and storing the car will exceed the value of the vehicle, and it will be sent to a scrap yard to be dismantled and disposed of....

Q:

What happens when the bank forecloses on your apartment?

A:  I don''t live in WI, so this is anecdotal at best. But a little bit of hope that you may not have to get out immediately -- when it was discovered that my boyfriend''s rental house was actually in foreclosure, the bank offered up the house for sale to the renters, cheap. They also were permitted to live there rent-free for a couple of months while they got the paperwork all cleared up....

Q:

What happens with my license if I got a MIP in Oregon and I turn 21 next month?

A:  NO, with luck you can get driving privileges to work, you have to appeal to the clerk of courts, just tell them your situation when you go to court. You may have to pay for reinstatement. Depends on your state reinstatement laws....

Q:

What happens to the Economy when the rest of the Interest Only Loans Come DUE ?

A:  And 8 yrs of Bush didn''t cause anything ? his 3 trillion in the span of 5 yrs in Iraq his 860 billion bail outs to banks did cause anything his over spending was the biggest factor as to why we are in a recession The only solution obama knows. Obama has expanded the problem with cash for clunkers by encouraging loans for people who can''t afford to buy new cars. Sounds like you listen to way too much Rush Limbaugh or Fox News or any of those other dooms day freaks. I heard on the news tonight that 250,000 homes have been re-financed preventing foreclosure. McCain would still be denying there is a problem. Keep in mind this took eight years to create by your leader. You want it fixed in 9 months? What have your leaders done besides say NO and tell you to stop the truth from being heard?...

Q:

1 house, 2 names on the deed but only 1 on mortgage. If foreclosed what happens to the 1 not on the mortgage?

A:  it depends on the laws of your state. If it''s a community property state, she not only owns half of everything, but she OWES half of everything. Where is it, by the way ... I''m looking for a home away from the gulf coast before the next hurricane season strikes (crickets1117@yahoo.com) I''m not sure if it''s different in community property states, but generally speaking, if there is only one name on the mortgage, only that person''s credit will be affected. The deed just refers to who has title to the home. Options would be to rent it (which he''s trying to do) or sell it before it goes into foreclosure. But if he sells the property, the wife will get some of the proceeds because she''s on the deed. He should try to get her to sign off on the deed so it is under...
