Q:

How long will it be before Iraq tosses democracy and reverts back to authoritarian rule?

A:  Examples of countries which did not revert back, Japan and Germany. We spent tons of money to rebuild them. If we don''t exhaust our resources by supporting Iraq, it won''t be long before they revert back to their own culture. They were given a British style government in the 1900''s and it didn''t work for them. Democracy is not in tune with their culture. JD is correct, but he is forgetting about Turkey, probably the most successful Islamic democracy. The problem with Iraq is that there are too many outside influences. There is the Iranians (Shia), the Saudis (Sunni) and the Syrians all trying to get a piece. Forget about the Kurds because they just want to be left alone. if the Shia and Sunni in Iraq decide that they can live together...even if it is on opposite...

Q:

Adoptees, how does it feel to know that the pregnancy section is telling everyone to....?

A:  I would assume that the majority of people in the pregnancy section are not adopted. I could be wrong, but I would think that the jump to ''give up the child'' would come from someone who isn''t a part of the triad. At least not the first mother and adoptee thirds of the triad. I see anyone who would try to conduct a ''transaction'' of a child online as a baby thief. If they were capable and ready to adopt legally, I sincerely doubt that they would be trolling online to find a baby. There are many agencies and state facilities who are willing to work with many different types of people. If someone is online searching for a baby to adopt, it tells me that they likely were turned down by other channels and are resorting to other means to cure their baby fever. I feel any young person who is...

Q:

How long does in insurer have to respond to a demand letter?

A:  From my understanding if they don't respond in 30 days, then it is void. which means your offer is Off the table. Actually, there is no statutory requirement in Florida for any insurance company to respond to a third party liabiity claim in any particular time frame or even respond at all. The insurance company is free to ignore your demand letter if it so desires. So, yes, it can just sit on the letters and at some point you are entitled to file a lawsuit against the other driver. The general practice is that the liability carrier will respond to the demand letter when it gets to it, which could be in the amount of time it takes to get to it on the pile that it's in with all the other demand letters. Depending on the backlog, could be 60 or 90 days,...

A:  No, probably not. As long as you go ahead and finish the process to get your drivers license before the permit expires, you shouldn''t need to take the written test again. In most states no. Just make sure you take your drivers test within the time given and you will not have to take it again....

A:  It varies by state by the laws regarding such a matter are something like this: You send the owner of the items left behind a notice of what has been left behind, where they can retrieve the items and how much time they have to do this. The details of how much time you have to give them will vary by state. Some require 15 days. Some states require you include what you plan on doing w/ the belongings after the time passes. You can tell them to come get it tomorrow if you want. Just make sure the police are there in case they might try anything. It''s really how long you want to put up with their crap being there. You should get a court order to make it legal .Usually it''s 30 days. And every thing should be in writing...

Q:

In Louisiana how long does a parent not have to be in a child life before a step parent can adopt?

A:  I don''t think it has to just be under thoes circumstances. If the real parent wants to give up their parental rights then I think it can be at anytime each case is different. It depends on how long the step father has been married to the child''s parents, the reasons why the absent parent wasn''t involved with the child. ,...
